In the game you were briefly joined by Marin at Toronbo shores, you even hold her up like when you get an item (along with the tararara tune). While with you, she would say different things depending your actions

- Break a pot "Ahhh! Ahhh, you are a bad boy, Link!"

- Check a drawer "Link, do you always look in other people's drawers?"

- Use the shovel "Great! Dig it! Dig it! Dig to the center of the earth!!"

- Hit a cucco "No! No! Poor hen! Stop that!"

- Jump down the well and she will land on you "Ohh! I'm sorry! Are you okay?! Link?"

- Enter a dungeon and she waits outside for you, when you exit "...You're late! I thought you'd never come back!"

- If you enter the Trendy game, she will ask you to let her play, showing off her 1337 skillz

- If you steal something from the shop, the owner will kamehameha your ass and kill you, after that everybody will call you THIEF instead of whatever your name was

Marin and Link are from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for GB, if you did not play this game, shame on you. Great game, and a pretty sad ending... I cried ;_;

You could actually have Marin following you the whole game using the screen jump trick, of course it would glitch sometimes but it was a small price for little Marin's company.

I'll redo this one, Link is horrible, obviously I suck at perspective. Marin looks nice, I'll redraw some of the back pictures and add some I forgot

Just started playing this game (finally got a copy from a friend) and I absolutely loved this part. Marin might be one of my favorite Zelda characters, ever. I'm going to bawl like a baby when I get to the end (I already know about the ending

I know I'm way, WAY late to this game, but I just found out about who Marin is and her various antics-all represented adorably in this picture as Link holds her up in possibly my favorite scene in the entire series. And I love the way you depicted her expression!

I haven't. Is it available then for a 3DS? The DS was unable to play Gameboy Color games and prior, I never supposed it was possible.

Link's Awakening DX is available on the 3DS' virtual console. Good move since maaaaaany people didn't play that little gem.

Probably the funniest moment of Link's Awakening right here. Of course, the way he held her up in the game, Link was probably looking up Marin's skirt. Not sure if I should call him a perv or a lucky bastard for that...

Marin is probably my favorite Zelda character. It's a shame not many people these days have played Link's Awakening, and so don't know of her existence. I'm glad LA DX was my first Zelda game.

I never knew this happens in the game, but anyway cute!the other day I was reading the Link's Awakening Manga with a couple of my brothers, at the end I think I cried a little.
The ending of Link's Awakening is so sad...
